It's snowy and icy here today, a rarity. School was canceled, but work remains open. Since most people here (wisely) refuse to venture out onto slick roads, we're pretty slow. I just spent half an hour cleaning the gallery on my phone and managed to get it to below 1,000 pictures. I dream big, I know

I can't imagine what it must feel like to divorce after so many years. We reach our 40th this year. My heart goes out to your mom.

My poor mommy. :( I split with a man after eight years and even that was bad enough. We didn't have any kids or own a home together or anything, but it was gut-wrenching. With that in mind, I can't even begin to attempt to fathom what she's going through.

I don't know how I would deal with it if my parents divorced. Unfortunately, divorces are often awful.

I've wondered many times how the hell children and teenagers deal with this stuff. It's hard enough as an adult, when I'm not even really directly affected by any of it.

My autocorrect is bizarrrre sometimes. The worst is that it sometimes changes "about" to "slut." But only at the worst of times, like when I'm talking to my mother. I keep deleting it from the dictionary and it just keeps reappearing, even though I'm not using it. Oh, technology.
