Makes you wonder why anyone built anything there, let alone a building with a basement. They would have had to know that a river like that floods ever so often.
Yeah, I made the connection because meth is a big problem in that area.
It was a lock and dam house for a reservoir that existed there for about 60 years, but especially considering all the surviving old buildings in the area were bungalows built very high on stilts, you'd think they'd have made it more flood-proof.
