1. Name someone with the same birthday as you: I knew this girl once in middle school named Jenny. She’s the only one I’ve ever met with my same birthday.
2. Where was your first kiss? Hahahaha... I was 15, in my friend’s basement lying in a sea of stuffed animals. It was near Halloween and I’d just finished a Snickers bar. I asked the guy if he’d be okay to kiss me because he was allergic to peanuts. He said he didn’t know, but kissed me anyway.
3. Have you ever seriously vandalized someone else's property?: No. I’d feel way too bad.
4. Have you ever hit someone of the opposite sex?: Yes, but I found out that it hurts way more when they hit me back.
5. Have you ever sung in front of a large number of people?: Yes, most notably at Hamilton place with the choir - Loch Lomond. Fucking incredible experience.
6. What's the first thing you notice about the preferred sex?: From a distance, I’d say body type. But upon closer inspection, eyes are key.
7. What really turns you on?: Intelligence.
8. What do you order at Starbucks?: I don’t do Starbucks.
9. What is your biggest mistake?: Not visiting Guelph campus before applications were due.
10. Have you ever hurt yourself on purpose?: Yes.
11. Say something totally random about yourself: I secretly love Joe Cocker (and no, Birtch, not because of the name :P )
12. Has anyone ever said you looked like a celebrity?: Not really. Any suggestions?
13. Do you still watch kiddy movies or tv shows?: Right now I barely have time for anything other than papers.. and LiveJournal.
14. Did you have braces?: Nope. My mouth is too crowded.
15. Are you comfortable with your height?: Sometimes I feel like an ogre because I’m taller than a lot of my female friends.
16. What is the most romantic thing someone of the opposite sex has done for you?: One of many: We (at 17) snuck out of the house at 2am on a winter night and walked and talked for three hours… we got to downtown O-dot and the snow began falling - no breeze, it was floating down so gently. It was like a scene from a movie. Another really romantic thing was when someone made an hour-long trip by bus knowing that we could only hang out for two hours… cute.
17. When do you know it's love?: Love to me isn’t something you just flick on and off. I don’t know when it’s love, really.
18. Do you speak any other languages?: I try to speak French, but it doesn’t really work.
19. Have you ever been to a tanning salon?: Nope. Though I’ve been harassed into going.
20. What magazines do you read?: None, really. It’s all about online news.
21. Have you ever ridden in a limo?: Prom. Grade 9 to the Junos.
22. Has anyone you were really close to passed away?: My grandfather when I was 17.
23. Do you watch mtv?: You mean MuchMusic?
24. What's something that really annoys you?: Apathy; people who are unnecessarily mean.
25. What's something you really like?: Chocolate. Exotic fruit.
26. Do you like Michael Jackson?: For my house cleaning dance parties, yes.
27. Can you dance?: I like to think so.
28. What's the latest you have ever stayed up?: 9am… all nighters at work/club nights.
29. Have you ever been rushed by an ambulance into the emergency room?: Nope.
30. Do you actually read these when other people fill them out?: Sometimes. Usually as I’m writing in my own answers :P
