12:20 - If this is a curse, it doesn't seem to fit any sort of seasonal theme. Which seems odd, somehow, with this. I know not everything fits like that but...all the same.
12:51 - Don't sleep. Anybody. It is definitely a curse and it is definitely one of the horrible ones.

[Rory's trying to watch for every moment of Amy's movement, finding comfort in her chest moving against his arm as she breathes, even in her trembling to an extent, though that could just as easily be him. He feels a bit ill, like he'd throw up right now if he hadn't developed better control. His voice cracks slightly when he speaks.]

Yeah. [ Amy knows she should probably loosen her hold on Rory's arm, but even just the thought of letting go makes her feel worse, alone. The dream was so real-- she can almost still smell the smoke, feel the helplessness. ]

[Rory nods tersely.] Yeah. [Amy is breathing. He can hear her breathing. He nearly moves his hand to check the pulse at her neck, and then flinches, and doesn't. He can't--he doesn't want-- Except that was the dream, wasn't it? It isn't true anymore. Even so, he shudders, and keeping his hands right away from Amy, moves to rest his head on her chest, waiting until he can hear the thud of her heart before breathing out shakily.]

So, ah... I guess this completely discounts sex as a passtime today?

[ Tired and sleep-befuddled, but despite the fact that they just slept for twenty minutes without waking up screaming and clinging to one another, making sure they were still aliv, Amy's making sure her eyes are wide open all the way to their bedroom. ]

[Rory's using Amy for support as much as he is supporting her. It was only a day awake, shouldn't have made him so tired, but it felt so LONG.]

It's past midnight. I checked. [When they're in their bedroom, he steels himself, and leans slightly closer in order to kiss Amy, eyes closed.]

[ Amy keeps her eyes open just a little longer, but she's so tired and Rory's still kissing her, with his eyes closed, and it seems to be okay. It really seems to be okay.

She closes her eyes and kisses him back. ]
