Red, wild and messy hair is Kintarou's best characteristic. This 157 cm short boy with his hand-painted shirts is easy to spot from the crowd, just either follow the noise or spot the hair. His golden brown eyes are full of life's joy and excitement most of the time. He looks like a little boy but don't challenge him in power, you'll lose badly. Also, don't challenge him in acrobatic, crazy and wild moves, not in speed either ... He has them all worked up to 1000 % maximum.
Kin-chan's appearance speaks for his personality. The boy is wild, probably the wildest person you'll ever meet. He can barely stay on one area for 15 minutes unless he has something interesting to do. Even if he stays on that one area, he's probably jumping on one place or all over the place. Hyperactive is one way to describe this boy. The kid mood swings about all the time unless he can keep his cheer mood up for whatever reason. First he might be cheer, then he's almost crying on the next second and then just cheer again all of a sudden. At times it's because someone tells Kintarou something and he doesn't like it and then someone cheers him up. Sometimes it's just because his own mind runs too much and the so called sad thoughts happen to come on the way and then he just forgets them again.
He loves being social and meeting new people. And he speaks as fast as words come into his mouth, usually Kin-chan's also jumping from one subject to another in one mouthful. He hardly ever lets you finish your sentence before he starts his own babbling and he starts it loudly. Chatty person as he is, he mostly forgets what he was thinking and gets a new theory if you ask about anything that he just said. Kintarou gets angry almost too easily most of the time but he hates arguing with people so usually he's back from anger in 30 minutes. That's unless you really disappointed him, then he might be mad at you for 2 or 3 days. Life's here for living a fun life after all, why waste it on bad moments?
History:
His mother is German and his father is Japanese (from Osaka) but they've always lived in Germany (Berlin). The kid should know two languages about fluently by now but unfortunately Kintarou has always been too hyper to study anything. Well, anything other than Sports anyway but you don't need to study sports from boring books. So nowadays when he knows German, Japanese and English his mind mixes up the words from each language. "Hallo, wai name is Tooyama Kintarou." and sometimes he just does it to annoy people. Really, he could write almost good if he concentrated on it. (and when he's bored, he usually concentrates at least a little).
Kin-chan spent a lot time home alone while his parents worked at days and sometimes even at nights. Living alone teached him some things ~ like cooking (very easy meals though, nothing too special). His mother came home later to stay in the house and teached the boy much about being a butler. But it looked so boring job to do for a lifetime, yet obviously his father had decided the place of his only son. He was about to send the boy to the same school that he once went to as a butler. Yes, with a very low chance of succeeding the place could possibly teach Kintarou to behave.
He is one of those anime/manga freaks (forgive me for the word here, it just.... fits Kinchan) who start watching it when they're little kids and get part of their extremely wild imagination from them. Little kid grows older and gets curious about the land behind all those masterpieces. So when he heard that the school's in Japan, he was totally sure wanted to go there. The name was an other thing, REAL LIONS in school?! Kinchan thought it was cool and he knew butler jobs somehow. He'd just have to get through them somehow.

Style of writing on his journal + on all comments depends on how hyper Kinchan's at the moment of the entry / comment. So sometimes he writes complete sentences, sometimes just weird words and all caps locks.
