The World Cup is so bad bad bad for me right now. I really have to study but how can I concentrate when Argentina vs Ivory Coast is on TV? Ahhh, I think I must have failed my speech anatomy exam today *sighs* Good thing the final exam is taking place before the sem-finals, or else I would go nuts

I'm surprised that the World Cup fever isn't that strong in the US, as the Anthem is played almost everywhere here in Thailand. I've always supported the Danish Dynamites. Although they're not widely recognized, their creative streak/unpredictable luck makes things interesting (like their 2:0 win against France in Korea). But my support goes to Germany this year as Denmark isn't even qualified, lol. T_T
It must be nice to have one common interest that gets everyone excited! I guess I could say that politics is that 'common interest', but we just complain a lot. ^^; I wish your family will arrive soon. Take care & hope to talk to you soon! *goes to watch Japan vs. Croatia*

Thank you ^^ Ahh... only 2 more weeks of classes left, and I already asked to take some days off XD (Now only if my bosses would listen...) Lucky you that you could get the atmosphere back in Thailand ^^; Even my Spanish roommate doesn't care about how Spain does.. ah well.

Aww, too bad about Denmark. For me, I support so many teams ^^; basically any team that has any of my favorite players. Currently Germany, Czech, Spain, Sweden, France, and Switzerland. (Czech the most right now, oh my god, how could they lose like that? x_x) I never really cared about the US before but I really want them to go far so there's more excitement over here XD;

On top of my unreliable internet, my dad's PC acted up and we lost several GB of video files, my fanart, my dad's digital photos, including the research I found for my thesis. T_T I can redo it, but I'll need a morale booster.

As far as the World Cup goes, I haven't watched many matches so I haven't formed attachments with players. Latin American teams seem quite strong this year, and Korea's strength really surprised me! Hopefully, the teams we support will go far. ;)
