Have you heard about the "Not one damn dime day" movement... if not, google it, I think you'll find it interesting and a good, proactive method.

oh man. yeah im totally doing the not a damn dime day and actively encouraging others to do the same. <3

I totally know what you mean though... about missing it. Its such a crisp wonderful place taht will always hold something special for both of us.

Don't want to get your hopes down, but the Dime Day does absolutely nothing for the economy. Even if everyone participated, it wouldn't make a difference to anything. Think about it- you still buy the things you need, just not on one day. The way to change the economy is to abstain and not buy things, not just make an agreement to not buy them on one day.
