The problem with Livejournal is that we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. Hence, I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don’t know about you.

I've just raised the flag, so to speak, by sending out the the first official Waking Dreaming Theater Company e-mail in five years. I've announced our schedule for this year and invited previous participants to come audition again.

You know, we don't actually HAVE a flag. Someone should design one for us.

After the play in Lexington, kschap and I headed back home to Maine but decided to stop in Portsmouth, New Hampshire at one of our favorite restaurants. I first went to The Friendly Toast in 1998 when the girl I was dating at the time took me there. I loved it then and still love it now. Last Saturday, Kelley and I went to Lexington, Massachusetts to see Amanda Palmer and a group of high school students perform a play they had written and produced together called "With The Needle That Sings In Her Heart." The legislature gave its final approval to same sex marriage in Maine today and Governor Baldacci signed the bill!

Unfortunately, now we have to fight a "People's Veto" of the bill in a referendum in November, but I think we'll win it!

I just accidentally e-mailed people from the Marriage Equality Campaign, and my Literature Professor Jill Rubinson, using the name "Squizzle McQuickstack" for my account name.

*facepalm*

The Marriage Equality Bill just won in the Maine House of Representatives with a vote of 89 to 58!

WOOHOO!

Apparently now it will go back the senate for a "Vote To Enact," then it will go to the governor's desk for him to decide whether he wants to sign it or not.

So exciting!!!!

For those of you who read comic books, and don't have a comic book store within easy distance of your home, where do you get your comic books? Is there a good mail order company that won't demand my first born child to cover shipping charges? I know someone out there has to have recommendations for me.
