Hello, all~! <3 I hope everyone is thoroughly enjoying the cruise. Though I could not join you when you left port, it seems as though our paths will intersect somewhere in the Florida Keys. I might have to get on board for the return trip, now that I have seen you are having so much fun without me~ <3 Tezuka-kun, Oishi-kun, I trust you are keeping ( Read more... )

Riddles in Japanese have always destroyed me. I enjoy them in Portuguese, however. :)

Brazilian Portuguese, per chance? I confess I speak not a word~ <3

And you are?

Yes, that would be correct. I confess I speak both Portuguese and Japanese. :)

B-buchou!!

That slipped out really quickly. It's been nine years, it's weird that it came out that quickly, isn't it?

It's been a long time! How are you? Tezuka and I are... handling things! Of course!

A boat rises with the tide, doesn't it? So... the ladder would still only have three rungs submerged?

Oishi-kun~ <3

Too long! I'm living the dream, naturally~ <3 I wasn't worried about anything knowing that you and Tezuka-kun would be on the boat.

Very good~ I see it's still impossible to slip anything past you~ <3

I knew you would be. Of course you would be! It's good to hear you still have faith in the two of us. It's just a reunion trip, so I don't anticipate anything can get... out of control.

Ahaha, thank you. So you'll be joining us on the way back then? I hope you will!

Buchou, how can you be sure high tide is exactly three feet higher than low tide? At what point is one making the measurement? From the boat? As the boat rises with the tide, wouldn't the point of measurement change? ...Or more than that, if the boat rose, how could you tell the water was higher than before? The recordings from a tide gauge are averaged, are they not? Therefore, it doesn't make sense that you would know it is "exactly" three feet higher. It doesn't make sense.

[ooc: T-this one was on Professor Layton, right? Professor Layton taught me that I don't like puzzles/riddles. I don't think Inui would either. Rikutsu janai /throws DS]

Inui-kun~ <3 Riddles are designed to distract the reader, and it seems they have succeeded in just that. You are distracted. The height of the tide, and its height relative to the previous height of the tide, is actually completely irrelevant~ <3

[ooc: it might be, I don't remember! Poor Inui. ♥]

Not at all? Seriously? Che.

Oh, and that riddle? The boat floats. Boats do that. It's like, their thing. So the drowned rungs aren't gonna change.
