It's been clear for awhile now that the Republicans have had NOTHING to of substance to say, but when your right wing agenda creator, Fox News, has to run a bit like this, then you know they're just full of shit and can't handle how insignificant they have become. Amen my brother. You know, what I CAN say for the republicans: they are very predictable. which is comforting in these uncertain times.

grassroots activism is laughable when it's done on the Right, but heroic when it's done on the Left.

I just wanted to make that observation.

I have no problem with grassroots movements at all, but this one in perticular is kinda sad. First off, it was practically invented by Fox News. They advertised and promoted it so heavily, that without them you would have had a dozen people in DC and that's it. Secondly, what is with the "tea bag" theme? It makes no sense. I see people "protesting" taxing without representation, but they HAVE representation. And nobody's taxes have been increased! So why all the comotion NOW? I don't get it. In fact, most of those people probably got a tax break with the latest stimulis bill. It was just kind of a mess with people "protesting" everything you could possibly imagine, from socialism to not having to pay taxes. If there were organized and had a legit issue to protest, then more powere to em.
