It was gratuitously stupid, but the scene of an airship docking at Versailles alone made it worthwhile. And the final "please let us do a sequel" shot wasn't bad either.

So... the fact that I'm a big Dumas fan is not the reason to see this movie.

Um about all I can say is that the script writers knew the names of characters from Dumas' book. And that they had something to do with France.
