Spinning Videos

These are primarily posted for my mother to better understand how to use her spindle to spin yarn. I am very new at this myself and I am just trying to give her basic instructions. Also, evidentally, I make some pretty odd faces while doing crafts and such, so try to ignore the ridiculous faces and just focus on the little videos. They are in

Maybe it was just my computer, but the sound got more out of synch as the videos progressed.

No, it's not your computer. My camera, which does short videos does not do sound well . . . the longer the length is the more my voice is not in sync with my lips.

that's too bad. it's cool that you're teaching your mom how to spin though! your technique is pretty different from the way I learned.

How did you learn? I learned to do it this way from an instructional kit my mother had purchased for me.

Well, I showed my mother this way because both of us aren't quite cordinated enough to do it with the spindle actually hanging down. It's a little too much for either one of us to do at one time right now. Thank you for your links though, I have seen the first one before, but like I said, standing up and using the spindle is a little too much for either of us at this point.
