It's okay not to know who you are, if you know who you're not. And if who you're not is what you don't want to be, then isn't everything okay? Re-evaluations of who you're trying to become are ever-mandatory. And when faced with new evils, it is acceptable to become the things you may have earlier felt were unfavorable. People become the way they are for a reason. People become distant and cautious for good reasons. Very real reasons. Growing up is all about realizing why people are the way they are. The ones who don't grow up are the ones who still get angry when people change to protect themselves. I would tell you this, but I don't want to give you the satisfaction of knowing that I still check up on you. So instead, I will write this in my own journal, because these are things I need to remember too.
And yet, I can't stand not to tell you, anoymously, at that... Even though I'm sure it isn't a hard guess. :] I'm such a wuss.

You'll never be able to define yourself. But never stop improving and taking time to look at your faults. Change for the best if you do change.
