ICU hasn't affected me to date, but today was a bit sad. A 90 year old man needed an x-ray for correct PICC line insertion, and he was just skin and bones. His skin was torn and bruised all over. I don't think I've ever seen anyone as frail as he was, and there was a large pool of blood which had soaked into the bed from the catheter insertion

on sunday i looked after this total bitch who was doped up on haloperidol. and i took her to the toilet and she was in there for ages, and then she's like i'm finished, so the RN comes to take her back to bed and the bitch patient just shits all over the floor.
so um yr entry, the last sentence i pretty much didnt understand any of that...except for knee and post op total knee replacement.
but when do you finish at tpch? i miss you jebzzzz.
