Kitchen stories 2

A/N: As from what i saw in Season 5, it seems like the kitchen at the apartment above Cafe 249 is connected to the dining/living room. in this story (and all kitchen stories that may come next) the kitchen is in a different room.
2 KITCHEN STORIES IN 1...
Kevin is a mess. A complete and utter mess, there is flour everywhere, something that looks like eggs whites all over the counter but it could also be oil, and the walls are repainted with dough. Daniel is on the floor wearing only his diapers, his chubby hands just discovered the flour package kevin thought he had finished bewtween the oven and the kitchen counter and he was blowing the remaining content making his face and hair all white. Oh! and Scotty is coming back in less than an hour. Kevin slides down to the floor, his back against the wall and his hands on his face.
- what happened! I left you 5 minutes alone and you did this!! all you had to do was pour the dough in the bowl!.... is my brother covered in flour?
So much for a homemade surprise birthday cake.

Kevin and Scoty are still sleeping, Scotty is spooning up Kevin and his lips are resting on his shoulder, in the same place the kiss was placed before drifting off to sleep. Last nigh was a quiet and peaceful night, the kids were very good, Olivia even offered to put Daniel to bed after dinner which give them the opportunity to go to bed early. Scotty accomodates his head and his chin ends in Kevin's cheek, he doesn't wake up though, although the noise in the kitchen is more and more louder.
- No Daniel! that sandwich is for daddy!
Olivia takes the sandwich from Daniel's chubby hands. This is the second sandwich he steals from the tray she is making for their parents. Daniel looks at his sister in shock and his lower lip starts trembling and his eyes get watered. This is not good.
- ok! ok!!! here.... finish the sandwich... it is not like we can give daddy half a sandwich covered on your drooling anyway.... but that is all Daniel ok? the next sandwich is for daddy, do not touch it.
Daniel smiles and closes his eyes and then opens them again as a way to tell his sister that he agrees. his mouth is full with the sandwich and a few crumbs start falling off. Olivia sighs and turns around to get the coffee and pour it in the mugs.
- Daniel, if you are trying to steal papa Scotty's sandwich now, you will be in trouble
A giggle from behind her tells her that is exactly what he was trying to do. She turns around again and places the tray over the microwave where Daniel cannot touch it. He whimpers but one look from his bigger sister makes him stop.
- ok Daniel can you please get some more bread? it is right behind you. I will get the sugar pot for papa Scotty.
Daniel does as he is told and Olivia starts fixing the sandwich for Kevin. Cheese-ham-avocado sandwich, Olivia shakes her head, what happened to PB and J? or just jelly? Kevin Walker was a weird man.
She finishes the new sandwich and takes the tray to put it back in the table. She places the mugs and the sugar pot and is about to take it when Daniel stops her, he taks one of the flowers from the centerpiece and puts it in between the juice glasses.
- Perfect Daniel! now we are ready. Open the door for me please.
Kevin turns around and sighs contently when Scotty's arms hold him even tighter. Neither of them is awake but they are close, Kevin is more aware of his surroundings but he refuse to walk away from his dream where him and Scotty are enjoying the sand while their kids play by the shore. Olivia is holding Daniel's hand who tries to escape from the waves that crush on their feet. He squeals and jumps and Olivia laughs. Scotty snuggles his face on Kevin's neck.
Daniel peeks inside his fathers' bedroom and signs Olivia to be quiet.
- They aw s'eeping
- Ok - Olivia whispers and both siblings enter the bedroom. They see how Scotty's face snuggles even deeper on Kevin's neck and his fingers intertwin his. For a moment Olivia doubts, maybe they should come back later but before she could explain this to Daniel, he jumps on th bed and starts wrestling with his still sleeping parents.
- HAPPY FATHERS' DAY!!!!! HAPPY FATHERS' DAY DADDY AND PAPA!!!!!!! WE MED YOU BW'EAKFAS!!!! HAPPY FATHERS' DAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!
