(sorry this is not on the topic of your quiz) but i was reading through some of your entries, and I saw that you are going to Vanguard. I am planning on going there (not this fall, but next, because I am doing a one year program at a different school first) But I was just wondering what you could tell me about the school, because I am accepted, but I don't even know that much because I can't visit (I live in NH :-P). And I just wanted to say Hi :-) *Sarah*
the campus itself is way small...it takes like 5 min MAYBE to get from one side of the campus to the other (walking, theres a LOT of construction going on right now...theyre building a new facility for the religion and business majors (dont hold me to that, but i think those are the right majors) and then all the other majors are playing "musical chairs", they just re-did the soccer field (don't know if you care about that or not),its a really safe campus (because the civic center/police station share a parking lot with vanguard), beaches are a couple of minutes away, the 55 fwy is right next to the campus, and on the weekends across the street at the fairgrounds is the swap meet(it's pretty big, and usually pretty good).
That's exciting that you're coming to Vanguard. What do you plan on studying?

I didnt even know that was offered as a major, but after reading about it...it sounds way cool. I'm sure i can find out for you, if you want. I'm majoring in Exercise and Sports Science with a concentration in Athletic training. From what i've experienced, i really like the school, and hopefully my opinion will only improve once i move on campus and start going to the classes. The classrooms are way small... the biggest one holds like 30 people, but the average class size is like 10-15. I've been told that once you start taking more classes specific to your major, and less g.e. classes, that there are a number of classes that have 5-10 kids. Talk about one-on-one time with the teacher! hopefully this helps ya out. Lauren
