I didn't think I would see this series here.

[Aw, there you are, our favorite little detective! Chariot Link Rank up to Max after this, I bet. Minato was glad to see that Conan seemed to be better after the event. Everyone did after it was over.]

Found something you like, Edogawa-kun?

[FFF man, I need to be up on my kinship terms. XD Conan didn't look too worried about him being gone or him being here at all.]

If he's home, that's where he should be, right?

[ lol IT'S OKAY. It's only one answer. It could also mean cousin, since we don't know how many siblings his mom has ]

Yeah. I'm sure Shinichi-niichan would rather be home than here. [ like me ]

[XD Thanks!]

So you're related to him? Also related to the author of that series?

Yeah. I'm...pretty close to him. And Kudo Yuusaku is Kudo Shinichi's father.

Mn, I see. You've talked to him about the series then?

[ always ]

Sometimes. Yuusaku-ojisan lives in Los Angeles, so we only usually get to talk over the phone.

[So cute.]

It must be nice to talk to him about it. Did you help with any of the stories?

Not really. But sometimes he let... m...he let Shinichi-niichan proofread it. Shinichi-niichan said that if he could figure it out too quickly, Yuusaku-ojisan would change it to make it more difficult.

[Minato nodded. That series had to have a great deal of complexity on top of an engaging plot.]

Has your family always been in invested in detective work?

Only Shinichi-niichan and Yuusaku-ojisan. Yuusaku-ojisan doesn't anymore, but he used to help with the police. Shinichi-niichan does that now.

[It must've been also been just as nice to be close to one's family like that.]

Do you know if he's going to write more?

Oh, I'm sure. That old m...Yuusaku-ojisan is far from retiring.

Maybe you can help more with the next series, Edogawa-kun.

Maybe, who knows. I like being a detective more though, rather than writing about them.

In the future you can write about it. As a side job or hobby.
