I had the great opportunity to go to the Shenandoah National Park a few weeks ago, along with the lovely and entertaining brown-eyed girl. Sometimes getting away for a bit can make you focus on the good things in life. Like mountain springs, and grassy meadows, and nights spent talking by nice warm fire ( Read more... )

Sometimes it doesn't matter which path you take. The little thing is to take either one.

I think it's amusing how you always take the left one and I always take the right one ... yet we still end up back together.

Grilled cheese sandwiches ... you know I didn't have those till college? I lived a sheltered life. I had things like "blue corn chips" and "tofu surprise" and "carob brownies." Those definitely aren't great for dinner. Those definitely aren't great anytime.

It is the little things that make a difference. It is slivers of moonlight on a lake, paper that burns and logs that won't, flowers that smell and flowers that don't. ;-)
