You know you're in cary when...

So today, I inherited a new kitchen table (complete with lazy susan, which caused me to puzzle over the definition, to which the wondrous internet is happy to oblige me with an answer, of sorts) - so I needed to do something with the old one. I met someone who is an interior decorator not long ago. They said you would be surprised how many of those big houses in Cary, that are out of your price range, are actually filled with second hand furniture or patio furniture, or no furniture at all, because they can't afford anything nicer after they make their unreasonable house payment and exorbitant SUV payment. I guess that guy at Cary Goodwill was unaware of this, also.

Those of us in Clayton, however, are always thankful for what we get. Despite the fact we are losing our trees to ugly housing developments around every corner.

Oh, wait . . . this is YOUR journal entry . . . perhaps I should continue this over at mine . . .

Indeed I do, and indeed I did get your email. I have not reponded yet and I have no excuse except that I never check mail at home . . . which is odd. I DO, however, check at work. Which isn't very effecient. So, I'll endeavor to respond at home.
