While I'm sifting my way through Craigslist, I figure it can't hurt to ask: is there anyone within reading distance of this post who's living in Atlanta and looking for a roommate, or willing to take one on? Feel free to email, PM, comment with hilarious apartment-hunting stories, etc.

I believe yin_again and shrewreader are in Atlanta -- they might know locals who fit your criteria?

I can't help much on the apartment- although I second the idea of talking to shrew.

But thanks to this post I've had Four Seasons in One Day stuck in my head all night.

Awesome, I really appreciate the help, thank you. :)

It was in my head all day yesterday. Today is shaping up to be a Fall at Your Feet kind of day though (a side effect of concentrated exposure to the Axis of Awesome's 4-Chord Song medley. I regret nothing).

what is this Axis of Awesome? As a hardcore Crowded House fan i feel remiss in not knowing it.

The Axis of Awesome is an Australian comedy rock band, not particularly Crowded-House related, so rest easy. I've become obsessed with their Four-Chord Song Medley video, which has got snippets of a few dozen songs, so different ones get stuck in my head all the time. It's hilarious and catchy and their comedic timing is absolutely ace (the audience reaction is priceless). Plus I think I'm at least a little bit in love with their keyboardist. ;_____;
