I'm not sure how I feel about the fact that I'm not surprised to know that. What sparkles, the fowl, the eggs or the omelets?

I did seem to notice the bonding thing. [A sardonic smile] It picked a rather bad mother.

The fowl sparkles in the sunlight, and is larger than your average chicken. Just one of the many strange creatures that dwell in this place.

As long as you feed the child well you will do fine as it's [No no, not going to laugh, but smile in an amused way] mother.

Shouldn't be hard to find then.

I suppose I can't just put it back in its nest can I? [He doesn't mean that, which is obvious from how he's gently petting the small creature

At the moment? It's amusing. But the older ones have teeth and claws. I might try training this one.

[Because seriously, flying, teleporting attack dog? Ray's all over that]

Thank you, but I believe I have them appropriately cleaned and bandaged. They will heal in time.

Snaring rabbits is easier. And chicken eggs, too.

I do snare rabbits. I've a smokehouse full of the things. A man wants some variety.

The nest was seemingly unattended when I found it.
