More talkin like Carl from Sling blade
Went with my boss to a Law Enforcement Conference in Gatlinburg, Tenn. on Sunday and just got back a few hours ago...it sucked...but he got to hobnob...and to be an ass I talked like and acted like Carl the whole weekend...I totally stayed in character...and damn...my voice is gone.
NOTE- he dared me.
Also - I really hate being in crowds of people that feel it necessary to wear their guns at all times...I mean I never wear or carry my gun anywhere (off duty) except in my car...I mean do all these guys have itty bitty weenies? Are they that scared? I may be an anomaly among cops - but I never carry off duty...i just don't feel the need. Disclaimer - IF you have a permit/are a cop and you think you have a need to carry - awesome for you. You have a reason, I suppose. I just don't. Besides...I dare say...after 13 years of being a firearms instructor..I know how most cops shoot and their abilities...YES! The more guns I see, the more nervous I get!
