i DO remember it! which is why i was really surprised a few nights ago when i was looking through my friend's old comic book collection and saw it there! i read it and it was the most beautiful thing i've read in so long. i think the reason the cartoon was seen as so bizarre was because sam keith, the illustrator/author, changed the style of art from scene to scene, similar to the way he changes it issue to issue in the comics. additionally, its not a comic made for little kids, which we were when it was on MTV. the issue i read was "the origin of mr. gone" who is MY favorite character. i didnt really understand what rape was or what it did to a person then, but i understood that he was a very bad man who killed people and was able to into other people's minds (what they call the "outback").
