I have a Facebook account. It notifies me when someone has left a message or something for me to view. Otherwise it is unused. I don't post anything there. I posted only once to let everyone know what I felt about Facebook and told them NOT to invite me to play games or any other bullshit. I would have dumped the account long ago if it was not for the fact that my sons who have accounts and access to a computer with which they communicates with me. Otherwise, no one gives a damn that I am there or not. Do I have a lot of Facebook friends? No! Just people I know. If I don't recognize them, I don't friend them. Some I have even told to "Fuck off!" By in large I am left alone. My average daily use of Facebook is 0 minutes.
