In Fandom, Wyatt got a weird buzzing in his head, like a faint sound of bells ringing. And then came the sudden sense that someone he cared for was in immediate danger. It wasn't like anything he'd ever felt before, but he instinctively knew what it meant.
"Fuck. Savannah," he said. "I'll be right back." He orbed away before Isabel could say anything to stop him or grab him and tag along. He wasn't going to risk her on this.
He reappeared beside Savannah on the street. "Savannah!"
When she heard her name, Savannah turned and it took her a moment to focus and recognize that it was Wyatt that was standing next to her.
"Wyatt? What is that thing? Where is everyone?" She was trying to make him hear her over the screams around them.
Belatedly, she realized that it should have been Chris that responded to the idea of her in trouble. If Wyatt was sent to get her, then something was wrong. Worse than wrong.
"I don't know," Wyatt said grimly, looking at the darkness that was rapidly getting closer. He grabbed Savannah's arm. "Come on, we're getting out of here."
