I heard a faint tink tink tink on the window last night while I was mostly asleep. It only registered later when I got up and saw a white world that it had been little icy snow falling. And when I finally got up in the morning it was at least 7 inches deep and still coming down. A heavy fall came mid morning when already much had begun to melt. It ( Read more... )

We had at least eight inches of snow yesterday here...and rain today! It's a very wet world outside. :)

Altho' my chickens are ankle deep in wet earth... I almost went down slip-sliding across the straw atop the mud!
