They probably thought you were trying to 'spam' the community. Posting it anonymously is pretty cowardly though. They could have just pointed it out in a constructive way.

I've come in and out of being public over the last 6 months, as I've felt healthy and safe. I know the need to retrench. That just sucks that someone would be so cowardly and small. I'm sorry.

Hello. I couldn't believe the comment that person made. It was completely uncalled for. Your responses were calm and appropriate.

I recently also had someone post rudely to something I posted in naturalskin. I ignored it, but contacted the mod. I never heard anything back. Obviously, the maintainer doesn't care about keeping the community civil.

Wow... what a very kind and supportive note! Thank you so much for the validation that I replied ok. I felt shaky in how I handled it.

I'm sorry you got blasted, too. It feels awful, doesn't it?... when you expect friendliness the unexpected hostility feels so violating. Anyway, I thought to contact the mod (but didn't know how really) so I guess it wouldn't have helped much anyway.
