If this is true, and they are going to make Blood Elves Horde, it's going to be an attempt to get more people playing on the Horde side. If you look at realm stats, most of what people play is the Alliance (Humans and Night Elves) and the only real "draw" to Horde are the Undead. It would be smart of Blizzard to make a "pretty" class for the Horde to try to even things out a little.
But visually, I think it's weird that the Alliance are rumored to get the Pandarens. I associate Alliance with human-like figures and the Horde with everything else. And, well... I don't find pandas very threatening.
I hear ya. But I can see where Blizz is going with this.
They probably are going to make a neutral alliance. Place made up of Naga, Blood Elves, Goblins, and whatever else. Then all they do is that whe it starts off, you can gain faction and reputation with a specific alliance, be it human or horde or otherwise. What it means is, obviously, if you choose Horde you can't interact withAlliance ever again, or if you go Alliance, no more Horde for you.
if they do choose this path. I'm actually pulling this out of my ass, as well.
I've seen these yesterday as well, and while I don't doubt that that area might be authentic (if it's not, the person did a masterful job in making it look as such), I'm taking the addition of Blood Elves and Pandarens with a grain of salt at best. I suppose it'll all be confirmed at BlizzCon, but I suppose it isn't impossible, judging from what someone on my guild message board said: "You do know that with a wave of their magic wand, Blizzard can change the lore, right?". It doesn't make much sense to mark the Blood Elves as 'neutral' either, since they've allied themselves with Illidan, though I have seen scant NPCs in horde towns (Sun Rock Retreat comes to mind), so I dunno.

Still Blood Elves are neither part of the Alliance or Horde.
Backstory wise, they allied themselves with the Naga(Fish-people), in attempt to destroy the Scourge.
Now if these Blood elves, would be a new race, along with the Naga. That would be awesome.
But seriously though, the expansion is going to suck, unless they open a new continent. Say....Northrend?
Good detective work Wally.
