well, not wrong, per se, since he's obviously survived this long leading a relatively happy existence. but he's a fairly cold person emotionally. he's extremely private and keeps things to himself, so it's sort of hard to get any type of a connection with him.
other people i know have given up on him quite quickly seeing no returning flicker of anything resembling friendship, but he's not the type to be all cutesy-huggy and "how was your day" and some people don't like that.
