Lucero definately did one of if not the best set I've ever seen them do. Did everything I wanted them to do, and I was not above a little unselfconscious rocking out. i know exactly what you mean about the second band, i was asking my sister about them on the drive home, i said its bad when you can tell exactly what a band is like just based on their merch...plus who looks like that outside of myspace pictures?

Apparently these days almost everyone looks like that outside of myspace. In one of the songs Cory Branan did he summed it up great with a line that was like "everyone here looks like rockstars except the band". I'm waiting for the day when kids start talking to each other with their heads facing the other way so they can look like the "internet disease" pic.

Sorry I missed your shindig on Saturday -- I was way too hammered to go anywhere after the all day barrage of Miller Lite I took down Sat. at the derby -- It was really for the best that I stayed inside the house and did not attempt to venture out into society
