It is quite an upsetting feeling, loneliness. I am unsure if the majority is aware, but I must mention that I have heard multiple times that our homeworlds are, in a word, "gone". I do not know how "gone" is... defined, exactly, in this situation. However, I have come to the conclusion that if our homeworlds are "gone", in even the broadest sense ( Read more... )

No! Surely this is impossible! Our worlds, our homes, can't be gone!

[Yeah, this is the first time Chrissie's heard this particular piece of info. And yes, she's taking it very badly.]

If everyone else is... is gone, then why aren't we? Why we were chosen? If they're all gone... Oh God!

Oh, Christine, please do not be upset! I... it has been impressed upon me that we must move on... despite the pain. Everything will be all right, Christine, this I promise you.

I am really sorry for you Wall. I understand how you feel. I miss people from my world terribly. My ... best friend ran away and I was searching for her when I ended up here.

If it makes you feel better, many of us are here from the same worlds at different times. However that is possible, maybe she could still be out there somewhere in the nether between the planes ...

[Her voice was cracking as tears welled up in her eyes.]

That's what I keep telling myself ...

[Wall does not wish to move on and accept that Aislin, his Aislin, is dead... but perhaps... he must.]

You are correct.
