I am feeling rebellious, or rather that I would like to be rebellious. Which is really quite odd because today has been completely normal. Well, perhaps not completely, but normal enough. Late for socials (to find Ms. King teaching us, so I felt bad), Anthropology was the same, except minus two lovely girls. I felt somewhat lonely, as Katie was ( Read more... )

In reference to the whore of attention that is Jeremy... I don't think it is the same as denying education to someone because of their race because he's CHOOSING to be a jerkface to impress his buddies. He's lowering the whole quality of the class (and the people who have class next door via the window).

I didn't know there was a kick-Jeremy-out movement but it probably won't do anything. He'll keep showing up most days and being a jerk and sometimes Senora Young will get frusterated and sometimes she'll laugh and eventually the 19 weeks will slog by and we can have end to this madness. I am actually all for his diversions because that gives me aprox. 17 extra Jereminutes to try and absorb Spanish at the rate of a regular human with their enviable vocabulary sponge minds.

Once again, Megsy, you make so much sense. I know feel slightly overbearing and silly. There was not a kick-out Jeremy movement, someone just said they wanted him out of the class. Yes I see your point about him choosing to be a jerkface...but still...You have to wonder *why* he chooses to be a jerkface, there must be some underlying reason, and because I am naive I like to think the reason is something he isn't responsible for. But yes, still. I don't think anyone has the right to be a jerk.

In conclusion: Point taken, yo.

This Jeremy is this, ah, dirty annoying kid. (Just flipping that pancake, aren't I? Uh...yeah nm.) I think he's in grade 12. Slacker, could easily see as a trucker in 5 years. He likes to be obnoxious.
