I basically just wanted to pop in for a moment and tell everyone that I am still alive.

Summer school has been a long and largely depressing ride that finally wraps up two weeks from now. My English class has me slogging through Paradise Lost, arguably one of the hardest and most unbearable works in all of English literature. I'd rather read

I had one of those weepy "this is the last clove of garlic I'll buy here" moments a week ago. It was rather embarassing to stand there on the verge of tears in the middle of the Mexican grocery store.

Thankfully my garlic bulb was immense in size (and value!), thus preventing the awkwardness of crying in front of middle/upper class grocery shoppers.
