I'm glad you enjoyed and appreciated this - I still have no idea if I like it. When writing this I wanted to continue it and make it into a real Kurt/Puck story as well, but it already felt saccharinely sweet when compared with the story's beginning, and that was as far as I felt I could legitimately take it within the story's premise.

Besides this I already have two long fics I'm working on, one of which was supposed to be a one shot like this and turned into a real story. I don't have the time to take on another!

A sequel? I have no idea. Not anytime soon; I have a bad habit of losing momentum half way through, and I have to make sure I finish everything else I'm working on before i take on another big project.

But you have kinda got me thinking - I think it would have to be a million miles away from Lima, when Kurt, a successful young man, runs into the boy who made his life bearable a very, very long time ago. And now I may have to write it. If I do I'll let you know. Thanks for reading!

I really enjoyed reading it and your justification for how it ended in the note really rounded it off splendidly.

Beautifully bittersweet and completely correct about the assumptions. I prefer the idea that Kurt actually gets around quite a bit but never kisses them/gets kissed by them then the sorry virgin he's usually presented as. He's a badass with a virgin smile.

Gah! I loved this. Kurt's numbness turning to Kurt's being so very alive... gah. It's like he got re-ignited. Honestly, the end reminded me a lot of the movie Sweet Charity, with the whole 'i'm going to learn from this' and the optimism and being more sure-footed.

you should totally enjoy it more. Or at least stick around for your turn.

I don't mind realism in my Glee. The show leaves us with so much to fill in, to tweak, to play with. Why not take it down realistic or angsty or sweet ways? <3
