Yeah, I've got something to say about that... lastonelefty January 10 2006, 15:07:27 UTC
I have sprint, which just merged w/ nextel. More on that in a minute.
My text messages always come from phone numbers, not from names. So I end up having to dial the number to figure out who it is. If it is someone in my phone book it usually shows their name in just enough time to hang up so I don't actually have to talk to them.

If sprint and nextel are the same company, why do they still have separate plans and features. The lady at the sprint store was all excited about the "boop boop," and I was like "please! What do I need the "boop boop" for? I have free sprint-to-sprint." The last thing I need is all ya'll wasted asses shouting things out of a speaker on my phone at 4 in the morning, that's what voicemail is for.

clearly.

i'm glad that nextel doesn't work up here.

i hate the boop boop.

really, let me walkie-talkie your face.

about asinine things like groceries or laundry, while at dinner at a nice restaurant.

they're almost as annoying as children.

I feel as though nine times out of ten it is children who are responsible for the boop booping. The cell phone is still a status symbol you see.

i suppose that's true

at least when i was a kid, it was non-socially-invasive things like shoes with air pumps.
