First of all, the comma was unnecessary. It disconnects the subject and the preticate and make the sentance disjointed and wonky.

Second of all, I agree. Once you start letting yourself not shower or brush your teeth, it's time for some mental help. It's a sign of severe introversion and possibly more serious mental issues. Unless you take a pointed view that you shower only once a week, and give a good reason for it, you've got a problem. I'm not talking about looking at all together or looking like you seriously focus on your physical appearance, but just basic upkeep.
