Places where Peter is not

Totally plausible episode tag for The Day We Died, extremely vague spoilers for the same:

Peter blinked hard as though that would clear the thick, acrid haze that clouded his vision. Wherever he was, something wasn't right, and he knew he should get out of the area, fast. He turned his head to look for an exit . . . and turned his head . . . the movement seemed to take forever, like moving through a dream. As though his neck were a mile long. He started to panic, his breath coming quickly in the smoky air, but then suddenly the rest of himself came into view and it all made sense. He saw a huge, long body, four legs, with a tail almost half the length again. His skin looked--and felt, now that he was aware of it--scaly and slick.

Peter would have been able to recognize the shape of himself even in the darkest night. It was one of his favorite shapes.

I can't believe it! I'm a brontosaurus! he observed, silently. The last thing I remember is bridging the two universes. I wonder how I ended up here! Have I now gone BACK in time?

He swished his tail experimentally. He knocked over a limp-looking tree. It felt great! He was so powerful!

But he was not able to fully enjoy the experience due to the state of his surroundings. He turned his focus back to his original task of getting out of the area.

Peter saw two or three smaller dinosaurs--Gallimimus, he thought, So I have gone back in time--running nearby, and decided to follow them. They've got to have a better idea of what's going on than I do.

They could move much faster than Peter could, and were soon out of his vision range. But Peter managed to follow along in their general direction until the air was clearer. His breathing was no longer labored and his eyes began to stop stinging. Now that danger didn't seem to be pressing down on him any more, he felt like he could take a moment to survey his surroundings.

Ahead of him, lush green hills stretched out as far as he could see. Animal screeches--ones like none he had ever heard before--came from a thick, lush jungle to his right. The air here was humid, rainforesty. Despite his having left the thick smoke behind, the sky appeared a hazy greenish blue. Like Olivia's eyes, he thought. He suddenly felt very alone.

He turned around--as quickly as his awkward body would allow him--to assess the possibility of returning from whence he came. Maybe there was a weak spot there, he thought. Maybe I can slip back through.

But all he saw was the black cloud of smoke. And worse, it was spreading. Peter scanned his brain for any useful information. He knew he was in the Jurassic period, and so what he was seeing in front of him probably wasn't the end of the world. This was probably a volcano. The activity in this area might be connected to whatever brought him here, but that didn't help him. He couldn't get any closer, even if he knew what was there.

Peter started moving away from the smoke once more, and decided that having your childhood fantasies come true was not actually that cool.
