T'was the Night Before Christmas WIP and final drawing

WORK IN PROGRESS DETAIL (or skip to final):

1. A sketch of an idea in my sketchbook. The idea was that it would be a very Christmasy scene through a snow-covered window inspired a bit from George Michael prompt/video.
2. I don't know what happened between step 1 and 2. I had originally planned Gwaine more nude and sitting up to increase the rating. I don't remember why I switched to them both very rated G.
3. The tree was easy enough to do, but I was having trouble since I (for some unknown reason) didn't use a reference. I thought best to send it to a beta to see if I should scrap this while I still had time to start another drawing.
4. altocello did some quick proportion checks and some ideas to improve the legs then kicked me on my way.
5. Still having trouble without a reference with the foreshortening of arms and Gwaine behind Merlin so, again, time to ask a beta.
6. novemberlite came to the rescue (though she did say it looked like Gwaine was trying to mount Merlin in an unnatural way ;)). She suggested to forgo the foreshortening of that front arm and said if I couldn't get Gwaine's butt right throw a comfy blanket over him.
7. Took those suggestions and although I think I improved Gwaine's butt I did end up throwing a blanket on them.
8. Started color rendering! This was before I got the borrowed Wacom so doing this with a mouse in Photoshop is a painful process. If anyone wants to know how this is done let me know and I'll tell you to get a tablet.
9. More coloring. Start with muted colors and then add shadows and brighten things up later.
10. Final coloring before adding finishing touches of lights against the wall, some reflection of a window and more Christmas lights.
