That looks wonderful, really great.

I've tried watercolours over various pens/inks, and even when they SAY the ink is waterproof it still runs. When you do the watercolour, assuming that doesn't happen for you and that everything is fine, can you let me know what pen/ink you've used and I'll get some myself.

You I went art shopping with a friend that does pen and watercolor and she pointed 2 types out to me saying THIS one won't bleed and use it first, this one bleeds and use it last. I bought both and forgot which one was WHICH. So, yea, we'll see.

I can't seem to reply to your comment below so I'll reply here instead.

Ah, I don't know what she means by use acrylics, as acrylics are waterbased too. (If you water 'em down enough to be able to see your pen-work through 'em, then you're just basically doing watercolour.)

I just had a google around to see what it says on the internet about watercolour over pen and ink, and this site says to just use India ink to draw with and you can watercolour over the top of it fine.
websiteBut I'm SURE I've used india ink before and it was just as disastrous as any other ink. I'm going to go round to the local craft shop on Saturday and see if they have something definitely called India ink and then give it another go ( ... )

OK I talked to my friend and she said my memory was wrong, the pens I used WILL bleed and I should do acrylic but I don't know how.

Doesn't take too long once you start because you can spend hours messing with shading. Thanks!
