Oh, do watch My Mad Fat Diary! IT IS SO FREAKING GOOD!!! It's not as atmospheric or moody as Glue, in fact, it's freaking hilarious at points, but it's black and it's raw and it's ugly and it's beautiful and it's painful and it's so achingly REAL. I love it to pieces already and I'm only three episodes in (about to be four!).

Heh. I have actually still been here, just not posting and barely commenting, so basically just reading everyone's posts like a creeper. Yeah, life has been pretty sucktastic so far this year, what with relatives dropping like flies and having the fucking PLAGUE and not being allowed to work.
On the other hand, I now have a decent data allowance, so I've been hanging out on tumblr for the prettiness. (I'm so-much-purple)
And I have now watched the first two episodes of My Mad Fat Diaryand I AM IN LOVE, OMG. Rae's facial expressions are pure gold, and I desperately want her and Finn to smoosh their stupid perfect faces together.
And the soundtrack! Argh, perfect soundtrack of my youth is perfect.
(Also, Rae's mother's car is the same model as my first car, even the same reg. year. Except mine was a super stylish metallic powder blue. And I didn't own it till almost a decade later.)
