[ TRUE DETECTIVE ]

Despite the shit-storm of disappointment and 'we could have had it allllll...' that season one of this show quickly became, I am definitely back on board for season two. I mean, it helps that W.H and M.M have been relegated to producers and I don't have to actually listen to either of them on a weekly basis butttt.... also, ( Read more... )

omg I LOVED Justified!! My faves are Rachel and Tim, though--my friend & I love imagining them passive-aggressively texting each other about Raylan's shenanigans. Like, I never got around to writing Justfied fic, but if I did, it would be that.

I loved OINTB season 3, too! So many great backstories. And yes, the ending of the finale was so blissful. ♥

I'm three quarters of the way through season four and DEFINITELY have a healthy appreciation for Rachel and Tim ♥ Your head-cannon is perfection!

Loved the first episode of True Detective. I want Kitsch and McAdams' characters to bang already because I am predictable that way. But I agree that it was definitely more similar in tone to the first half of the first season so FINGERS CROSSED.

I just finished Justified today. IT WAS A BLAST.

I watched the first few eps of Justified, and I like it purely for the fact that it's based on Elmore Leonard, who writes wonderfully fucked up characters. It didn't grip me enough to keep watching, but it's certainly not bad.

If you only know Taylor Kitsch from Savages, you are very much missing out on Friday Night Lights! That was one awesome show, especially the first season. The second got a lot of things wrong, especially the need to dramatize everything. The first season was just so *realistic*, I loved it to death. So, yeah, this is a Friday Night Lights rec.

I am sorry to say that I have not seen Orangeitnb nor True Detective, and probably won't, either.

Yeah, I saw it's based on one of his novellas! And it certainly has fucked up characters BY THE BUCKET LOADS!

Friday Night Lights has been recced to me a number of times, but it just doesn't interest me at all, unfortunately. I have a MASSIVE to-watch list as it is... SO MUCH TV, SO LITTLE TIME! Hey, actually, have you seen Halt and Catch Fire? THAT is on my list, but I don't really know anyone else who's watched it to ask what they thought.

So late to this reply! OMG SORRY!

Even thinking about season one of True Detective gives me RAGEFACE so I'm gonna leave that right there! Haha!

I'm not sure what I legitimately think of season two, but I honestly think I'm spite!loving it at this stage, because of how much I hated season one by the end! Haha!

I agree that season three of OitNB was probably the weakest, but I still loved it. And like you said, finding out about the backstories of Flacka and Cindy etc was amazing.

Heisenpiper was the greatest!

ut Pennsautucky's friendship with Boo this season was awesome, just awesome. The truest of all true facts!
