Hi hi!

Oh my gosh the Kettering Incident looks good.

I've also been meaning to check out OA (and Westworld.)

I'm still keeping up with GA but only sporadically! Like I'll go a month without watching new episodes. Since I don't have cable or a good antenna signal, I had to give up on The Vampire Diaries but I do want to try and catch up with that.

I am just too busy to keep up with TV! Something I never thought I'd ever say! But since I'm getting back to the gym, maybe I'll devote some of my cardio time to TV watching?

New Years Resolution? Post on LJ (I want to say weekly, but I know me, so we will say twice a month, ideally weekly, but twice a month for sure!), participate on LJ (doing that now!), and also catch up on TV, reading, gym time and... life. I don't know if I'll be able to do it all!

The Kettering Incident is very good! I highly recommend it if you can find it. Plus it's set about an hour from my house :)

Oh, Grey's, forever show of my heart that I will never, ever be over!

TV watching while doing cardio sounds like a great option and sure beats the TV watching while sitting on the couch and eating, which is my usual mode!

I am still watching GoT. I really liked the most recent season.

Wikipedia tells me ER had 15 seasons and Grey's is in its 13th, so yeah, I reckon you might be right. The ratings are still pretty good.

I really liked it but I wasn't blown away or anything. The episodes were soooo loooooong and I found I'd be wandering off before they were over, which is never a great sign. I loved all the Rory/Logan-ness though. I can only imagine how much fandom hated it and that brings me some perverse joy. Rory cheating would have been too much for most to handle, I'd think, even though... of course!

Hello! Happy New year!

Yay I've found someone who feels the same way about Stranger Things. I've watched the whole thing, and maybe it's due to it partly being so hyped up before I watched it, but it didn't feel like anything special. I mean it was okay. There were elements that I can see are technically brilliant from the point of cold analysis. But I wasn't very entertained. And it definitely didn't have the 'epic' feel I was expecting from what everyone said.

Ah yes, Grey's Anatomy. I haven't seen any of the last 2 (3?) seasons, and though I still love it and its earlier seasons dearly, I also don't see myself trying to catch up with the more recent ones any time soon.

I've watched the whole of 3%, it's an awesome concept and has definite intriguing happenings. It didn't quite hit the button for me, but that may be me being overly fussy. I can definitely see it being enjoyable.

Yeah, Stranger Things just really didn't grab me in its premiere. I'll probably get to the rest at some stage, but there are definitely other things on my list ahead of it so... maybe not?

I've only seen a handful of post season 6 episodes of GA. I mostly pretend they don't exist.

I think I'm going to watch some 3% tonight :) I have the house to myself and will report back with my thoughts.

Hi you!!!

How are you doing? Which color stethoscope did you go with in the end?

I clocked out of Quantico too, and I can't explain why either? I just didn't ever feel like hitting play. I think it's getting cancelled anyway.

I have to admit Grey's still has me, too. The ratings are incredible considering how old the show is. But I like the new characters and how they keep finding new places to take the old ones.

I keep meaning to watch Stranger Things, Westworld and Luke Cage because the dash/f-list loves them, but I keep forgetting they exist. LOL I've also been busy porting my LJ stuff over to DW because of the Russian server thing- have you heard?

Hello!! I'm good thanks! Haven't decided yet! Classes don't start until the end of Feb so still have some time to obsess :)

Oh, Quantico is getting cancelled? Yikes, I had no idea.

I agree that Grey's is definitely the show that keeps on keeping on! I'm glad you're still into it. I just don't care about so many of the main cast these days that I can't get invested enough to catch up. I just want to live in the days of Izzie and be done with it, which is exactly what fic is for so... can't complain really!

I did head some vague rumblings about the Russian server thing, but haven't really looked into it. Should I? I have a DW account, but never use it.

Quantico's numbers were steadily dropping but they're trying a move to Monday nights to try to save it.

Ooh, I forgot to mention that you should watch Pitch BECAUSE IT IS AMAZING. SO GOOD. And only 10 eps! (Praying and hoping it gets renewed!)

It was incredibly simple to import my whole journal to DW! Maybe do it just as a backup? Here are some links with details about the LJ move thing.

General why it is a no good very bad thing.
More details and evidence.

Honestly at first I was reluctant because 1. learning curve and 2.starting over from scratch with the friends, but it's way more active fandom wise than LJ has become so I'm glad I made the plunge! Plus I'm obviously still able to use this journal, I just won't put any sensitive content here anymore.

I was considering watching Stranger Things but I didn't get to it before it blew up and now I'm purposefully staying away until everyone stops talking about it. I've realized in the last few years that I'm very susceptible to what other people think about shows/movies so I try to get to anything that may interest me before talking to anyone so that I can form my own, influence free, opinions. I've had to adjust my free time to make sure I can watch as many shows live/the same night as I can and I now go see movies opening weekend while avoiding reviews. It's a lot harder than just letting my DVR fill up until the weekend (which was my old system and invited a flood of opinions from others that always influenced how I reacted) but I can say with 100% confidence that I did or did not enjoy the show or movie I just watched ( ... )
