I think I'm afraid of this kind of thing happening at Reed. A usual reedlj post goes something along the lines of "looking for someone to carpool with to san francisco/LA/etc., will split gas..." If a similar tragedy occurred here, I wonder what would happen to us. This kind of thing takes the hope out of you.

Crimes like this are why I believe schools should be required to teach martial arts to girls.
