hi - i saw this in craftgrrl and it's beautiful. i was wondering whether you'd posted it on ebay yet, and if you have (or haven't, and would be willing to sell it otherwise) - how much are you asking for it (and do you have a link to the auction)?

my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer a year ago this september 1st, and she's clear now (we were blessed - they caught it early) but she has mentioned how her doctor told her the year anniversary would be tough... i've been looking for something to give her (just to let her know that i'm here) and this would be perfect. she got a 'survivor' teddy bear last year, and i don't want to repeat the stuffed animal theme, and i haven't found much else that i like.

Well what I'm selling it on e-bay will be higher so I can cover my costs and donate. If you want I can make one just like it for $20(plus $5 shipping if you are in the US) which is $10 less than what I usually charge 'cause I want people with cancer to be able to buy them. Check out my website www.ileasdreams.com and let me know if you are still interested.

Thank you. I'm (sadly) not much of a talker, and tend to use art, and writing to express my emotions.

I'm very sorry about your mother. Cancer is such a hard fight :(

It was. My mom originally had cancer in 1996 and was given the all clear in 1997. 7 years later (almost to the day) she found out that it had reoccured in her lung, bones and later spred to her liver.

It was a hard fight both times for both of us.
