[It's the Blue Light, and Edmund is at the bar, one elbow on it, chin in hand. He's grown, today - thank you, full moon - and it's vaguely empty, still - it's late, and a Monday.]

I figure I ought to get out of this rut and actually do something. We lost a waitress and I need someone who actually knows alcohol, as well.

Does anyone need a job?

I can do some training, if that'd help.

I reckon that it would, considering it's not as though I know what I'm doing.

You've watched Peter do his job, you'll get the hang of it eventually.

Meanwhile, I'll handle the bar. I'm sure Ginny can train the new waitresses.

I might do better if I actually show up more often.

[It is probably very, very late by the time Rosella finally puts in her appearance, rumpled and wrinkled and probably covered in a fine layer of dirt, mangled and uneven braids hanging long down her back. It's a testament to just how tired she is that she didn't try to walk back to either of her current safe havens, the Pevensie complex or the Warehouse; ultimately, she opted for the shortest and simplest walk, which for Rosella is really saying something.

She wanders in slowly, half-asleep and almost as if in a daze, moving at a snail's pace as she collapses into the first empty booth she comes across and slumps, fast asleep almost before her head comes to rest on the forearms she's placed crossed on the tabletop.]

[He watches this with a scowl on his face and pours a glass of water before he moves over to sit in the booth next to her, rather than across.]

You look dead.

[She's too far in the grasp of slumber to properly appreciate his displeasure or even the words themselves, but the noise does prove to be enough to rouse her a little, which comes with a halfhearted grumble of her own.]

Mnnnnnnnnnnn.

[Her eyes open about a quarter of the way.]

...'mund?

Who else?

[He pushes a glass of water her way]

Drink.

I would like to help, but I'm not certain I would be suited for the work. And I do not know alcohol.

Do you need a job, Tessa?

Not truly, no. I help out at the library sometimes.

Don't worry about it.

Well, whoever you get in for waiting tables, I'd be happy to help them out. Been here a bit, so.

I'd hops so because it's not as though I have any actual experience.

We'll all manage somehow, Edmund. Besides, Peter was the one who trained me, I may as well pass it on. Seems right.

I hope so.

Feeling better?
