I just applied for a full time job at my old company and was quickly turned down. Maybe ageism, maybe the supposition that someone who was once making upwards of $80,000 at that same company won't be satisfied only making $32,000....little to do they know lol! Making it on freelance and sales is laudable. Congratulations! The only time I ever did that, I was working for you.

I first read that as laughable! I didn't say I was making a good living. Just getting by but I'm exploring other avenues of selling my art. In the mean time I'll find something at least part time. I've got a gig laying out a friend's book in January in Amarillo for $3500-5000.
