Whip-Agony and ecstasy: black leather and damp red rose.
I've wanted this one for a while, and almost ordered it from the site because I kept missing it in personal sales. However, just came as a wonderful freebie. I will say, so far just the rose is coming out to play. Damp, but light and playful. No leather or agony as of yet. (....still no agony. Disappointed. Hm, never thought I'd say that.)

Paris-Sensual, decadent, and enigmatic. Lavender, softly underscored by lotus and spice.
Also on my want list. Excellent. ...interesting. Thick kind of sweet, it reminds me of some..thing...oh! Candy, almost, maybe a Now and Later. Not bad, per se, but probably a no. (ha, it has been brought to my attention that I have reviewed this one before and had the exact same reaction except more on the 'ew' side)

Les Fleurs De Mal-The scents of the blossoms of darkness, condensed into one perfume. Features a rose base, softened with lilac and wisteria. More of that particular green that smells akin to sushi, at first, but not as much as the other two did. Later it gets powdery. It's pleasant, but there are others I like more.

Maenad-Orgiastic mayhem in the extreme: sweet strawberry and orange blossom distorted by carnation, black poppy and hibiscus
Apparently today is all about the flowers. First sniff is hard candy. Letting it settle.

Drink Me-a sort of mixed flavour of cherry-tart, custard, pine-apple, roast turkey, toffee, and hot buttered toast
I was told that this did 'interesting things'. *blink* My right wrist smells like a vednor's booth. Buttery popcorn, at first, then to the custard, and cookies. Not that much into food smells, barring apple bake or pumpkin but it's interesting, alright.

Lucy's Kiss-Created to represent the essence of Bram Stoker's tragic heroine, Lucy Westenra. Seductive, wanton and deadly, but underscored with a soft, wistful innocence. The gentle scent of rose and a blend of Victorian spices.
After a brief interlude, back to flowers.
No green in this one, but very understated. Kind of a dark, creeping from behind the couch rose. I can tell the spices are there as support, but they are not coming out to play, themselves.

Death Cap-A warm, soft, ruddy scent, earthy and mild.
Warm, sunny, musty dirt with a hint of floral underneath. There is something it smells -just- like, but I just can't place it yet. (Later on, I think the sweetness I was getting as floral, was actually sandalwood)

do I have room for the last one? Yes, yes I do.

Aged Snake Oil-A blend of exotic Indonesian oils sugared with vanilla.
Aged, indeed, the wand is stained. Rich and spicy with just a bare hint of sweet on me. Again, it's reminiscent of my favorite 'darker' smells at Amy's. I was never made aware of what they were made of, so I can't quite describe them, now that I think about it. But definitely spicy in that incense way but not so dark as opium or myrrh.
