FYI: They're all fairly equal on the warm factor, so we're going for looks. How vain, I know. I'll be wearing them mostly with pants, but probably with skirts now and then as well.

What do you think?

Poll I have to buy some boots for Mongolia. But I don't know which!

I like the middle pair but the top pair looks like they might have a better tread. Will you need to consider that?

When do you leave?

I feel exactly the same, which is why I voted for the top pair. I'm amused by this!

I may need to go back and check out the specs on the thickness of the sole. I'm glad you like the top pair, though, I'm drawn to them and worried that I might be on my own in that. :)

I'm not sure if the tread will be as important as thickness. It's so cold there that it doesn't often snow. Nice, huh?

I'm leaving on the 15th. Eeeek! That's just over two weeks from now. If I think about that, I start hyperventilating. Even though I'm excited. :)

THANKS for the picture of the boys. I'm so glad I'll be able to take it with me and put it on my fridge. Hooray!

the last one will keep more of your legs warm, but I still voted for the middle ones. They're WAY cuter! The top ones might be cute, too, but appear to be a men's size 25, and look HUGE :)

Just this second, I remembered you have little bitty feet. So maybe the first ones would be ok. But I seriously love the middle ones.

It wasn't easy to decide, can't you just go and buy two pairs? :D
For me, I'd get the middle ones (that's what I voted), but the top ones might be more useful and are also really cute :)

I'm the one that voted for the bottom ones --- I can see them with a skirt much better than the others (but then I'm not a trendy person so what do I know)

The top ones *look* the warmest.

Yeah ... they seem the best match for a skirt, too. The thing that makes me hesitate is that I have a pair very similar to those -- just with heals. I can't take them with me (because they're not warm enough), but I'm not sure I want two pairs of such similar boots.

They'd be really versatile, though.

I just can't decide!!! Hence, the poll. :)
