Awhile ago I promised I'd post about my upcoming move to Mongolia. Yeah. That didn't happen. But what did happen was a gmail chat with buffra last week that brought up all the details I'd been meaning to tell you about. So rather than type it all over again, I thought I'd just include it here for your enjoyment and education. ;)

Thanks for finally posting about all of this. I would be scared to death to do something like that! I hope your adventure works out to be everything you want it to be!

I'm a little scared myself, but it helps that I already know a couple families there and even some Mongolians who are close to my age. I'm not sure I could do this by myself. :)

Don't be scared! If I can learn Polish, you can learn Mongolian! Besides, you need to learn the survival stuff for now. My cousins are learning Turkish right now. They say it is tough, but not impossible. Just think, you will be able to drink root beer there while I just dream about how it tastes! I am so proud of you, sis!

Thanks! I haven't voted yet, actually. I thought I'd be able to vote early today, but it turns out our county only did it through Friday. Which means I'll be filling out my mail-in ballot after all and dropping it off tomorrow. :)
