Ah, few things are more frustrating than finishing a truly great book and not having anyone to talk about it with. I suffered that fate when I finished "Cat's Cradle" by Kurt Vonnegut. It's nice to have someone to talk to but eventually you just want them to shut up and go away. That's why I like the web. Wonderful quote, makes me realize I need to have a notepad with me the next time I read Vonnegut, or at least a highlighter. His work is full of brilliantly quotable quotes. I should do the same next time I read Tom Robbins too.

So many books so little time.

I usually don't want people to shut up and go away, I'm quite an expert at letting whatever people are saying just drift past. I can space out like few others I've seen can.
